Dating back to the early 18th Century, Penyard House has undergone careful refurbishment and expansion over the years.

Previously the Wye Hotel, Set in 9 acres of private parkland, gardens and pasture and surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the Wye Valley, Penyard House is situated in the Herefordshire Parish of Weston-under-Penyard, less than 4 miles from the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye.

The Wye Hotel

There are two main buildings where our bedrooms are located, both with ideal room options for any type of guest. Guests are able to stay overnight with views onto the gorgeous countryside and only need to take a flight or two of stairs to their bedrooms after a day of exploring the local sights or dining in our Drawing Room Restaurant!

Penyard House has 10 original bedrooms full of character including our four-poster room. There are 70 other bedrooms, more modern in design, which range in size accommodating singles, couples and families. We have a limited number of ground floor bedrooms and adapted bedrooms which are available in the Michael Aiken Wing.

The rooms have tea, coffee and biscuits, each have a television, Wi-Fi and all are en suite.

A hearty breakfast is included in accommodation rates and our Restaurant and Hotel Bar offer a great place for you to relax with friends or wind down in one of our front of house lounges.
